Does grounding really work?

The electrical effect is well established: your body sits inside the electric field from household wiring, and connecting to earth measurably drops your body voltage. That part is settled physics. The health effects are a younger field of research — some findings are promising (like a well-controlled 2019 muscle-recovery study), others are preliminary. We grade every study honestly on our research page rather than overstating the evidence.

What size do I need, and where does the cord go?

Match your mattress dimensions, not your bed frame size, and check mattress depth (our fitted sheets fit up to 33cm/13in deep). The included cord is 4.5 metres and runs to any earthed outlet within reach. Full details are on our Find Your Setup page.

Is my outlet compatible?

The cord connects to the earth pin of a standard grounded outlet. Use the included tester to confirm your outlet is genuinely earthed — an outlet that looks grounded is not always earthed, especially in older homes.

Is grounding safe for everyone?

We recommend talking to a clinician first if you have an implanted device such as a pacemaker or defibrillator, take medication where timing or dosage is closely managed (including blood thinners or thyroid medication), or are pregnant — not because we know of a specific risk, but because these groups haven't been studied and we'd rather say so than imply a safety we can't demonstrate. Unplug the cord during thunderstorms, as you would any device connected to household wiring. Full details are on our Safety page.

How do I care for my grounding sheet?

Machine wash warm (up to 40°C), tumble or line dry. Avoid bleach and fabric softener — softener residue is the most common reason a sheet stops conducting. Use the included tester periodically to confirm the conductive path is intact. Full guide on our Care Guide.

What if I'm not sleeping better?

You have 90 nights to try it. If it's not for you, email support@restoreearth.store for a prepaid return label and a full refund — and keep the tester.

What if my sheet stops conducting?

If any area you sleep on loses its conductive path within 12 months of normal use, we replace it free — no diagnostic fee, no shipping charge.

Do you ship to Canada?

We currently offer free shipping within the United States. For shipping to Canada or other destinations, email support@restoreearth.store and we'll help directly.

Why don't I see reviews on some pages?

We launched in 2026 and we're not going to invent reviews or ratings. Once real customers start leaving them, they'll appear — the good ones and the disappointing ones alike.
