Sprayed silver flakes off
Most sheets under $100 use a silver-bearing coating applied to the surface. Five or six washes and it starts shedding in patches. The sheet looks identical, and it can still test fine at the corner stud while doing nothing where your body actually rests.

There is no partial grounding
Either a live conductive path reaches the skin where you lie, or it does not — there is no in-between. Resistance barely matters until it is enormous: an ESD wrist strap grounds a person through a deliberate 1 megohm resistor. What kills a sheet is a broken path, and a flaked coating leaves dead patches you cannot see.

Mattress covers are worse
A grounding cover that goes under your fitted sheet has a layer of cotton between your skin and the conductive material. Cotton is an insulator. That's the whole point of cotton.

Fabric softener kills it faster
Softener leaves a residue on the fibres that raises the resistance at the skin contact point. It is the most common cause of a weak reading and it washes back out — try a plain cold wash before assuming a sheet is finished.

Does this actually do anything, or is it wellness nonsense?
The electrical effect is real and measurable — grounded, your body voltage drops to near zero, and you can verify it with a meter. The health effects that get claimed online run well ahead of the evidence. We'd rather you buy this understanding exactly that.
Will I feel something the first night?
Some people report falling asleep faster within a few nights. Many notice nothing for two or three weeks. A few notice nothing at all — which is why the trial is 90 nights and not 30.
Is it safe?
Yes. The cord connects to your outlet's ground port only — there is no current from the outlet running into the sheet. It's a path to earth, not a power source. Every kit includes an outlet tester to confirm your outlet's ground is properly wired before you use it.
What if my outlet isn't grounded?
The included tester will tell you. If it isn't, you can use a ground rod cord that connects directly to earth outside your window.
Does it feel like a normal sheet?
90% cotton, 10% silver fiber. It feels like a good percale sheet. The silver threads are visible if you look closely and completely unnoticeable when you're sleeping.
How do I wash it?
Cold water, gentle cycle, no bleach, no fabric softener — softener coats the fibers and reduces conductivity. Line dry or tumble low. Washing every 2–3 weeks is fine. Every wash costs a little conductivity, which is exactly why we include the tester and the 365-day replacement.
How long does it last?
Woven silver typically holds conductivity for 2–3 years with normal washing. Our guarantee covers the first 365 days unconditionally.
Do I need the pillowcases and mat too?
No. The sheet does most of the work because it's the largest area of skin contact for the longest time. The pillowcase adds head and neck contact; the mat is for daytime use at a desk. Start with the sheet.
What if I share the bed with someone?
It works for both of you. Two grounded bodies on one sheet is fine.
